The only artist i take any real sot of interest in. All his pics have a wierd twisted sort of edge. I was introduced to him first last year by my classes french assistant Yves. He gave us an exercise to say what was going on in one of his pictures in french. Needless to say i couldnt do the french side of it but ive gone on to really like Dali's pictures. Heres some examples Click here to see some more of his work. (yet another surrealist)

Dali was pretty interesting, from what I know. The few pictures I've seen, I've taken the time to try and understand, which is very rare for me with art. You'd be better asking Sean. Yves, lol, he blinded me with an elastic band, the Belgian bastard.

It's fucking terrifying.
I don't like him that much. He is technically extremely gifted, and can create very photorealistic pictures, but the things he depicts manifest his insanity, in my opinion.
Having said that:
There is only one difference between a madman and me. I am not mad. - Salvador Dali

He beat himself in the head tunil his vision blurred, then looked around.
Most of the time he was in a clock shop.
